1. Prep nails. Remember, Different nail plates need different prep. Lightly buff oily or shiny nails to improve adhesion, but skip this step on brittle or damaged nails to avoid extra stress.
2. Shake Super Strong for 30–60 seconds to mix the formula.
3. Wipe away excess: When opening the bottle, wipe the sides of the stem and brush hairs to remove excess product. Your brush should look almost naked—saturated but not loaded. One brush load typically covers five nails.
4. Cap the free edge: Start by capping the free edge of all five nails to seal the nail.
5. Scrub into nails: Pull the sidewalls away from the nail, then scrub the base coat in using short, circular motions. The result should resemble double-sided sticky tape: textured and tacky, not slippery or glossy.
6. Cure 30 seconds in the OPI Star Light, then you're ready to move on to your client's GelColor shade.
